We were delighted to welcome the Minister for Special Education and Inclusion Josepha Madigan and Deputy Alan Dillon to the school, to announce that the procurement process for the New School will begin and invitations to tender for a design team will shortly be issued. There was also the opportunity to discuss some of the issues that are currently affecting Special Education at a stake holders meeting the previous evening. Issues such as services, adequate funding, staff levels and nursing supports were openly discussed. Thank you to both the Minister and the Deputy for their interest and commitment to Special Education and their drive in progressing this project.
